General Information
Completely refurbished and upgraded in 1998, the Golden Ring Hotel is
the latest addition to Moscow's luxury hotel scene. Located opposite the
towering, gothic sky-scraper of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the
hotel offers quick access to the Arbat, Moscow's favorite pedestrian
street and an ideal place for visitors to stroll amongst the souvenir
stalls and watch the lively street performers. Located just 3 minutes
from Smolenskaya Metro Station, the hotel is not far from most of
Moscow's downtown attractions. The Golden Ring offers comfortably
furnished, air-conditioned rooms on standard and executive floors, and
all the facilities you would expect from a modern 5-star hotel. The
hotel provides numerous dining options and excellent service, and nearby
Arbat Street is home to many more restaurants offering Russian and
International cuisine.
Rooms & Suites
The Golden Ring Hotel features 247 air-conditioned guest rooms located
on 14 European furnished floors. Guests can chose from a selection of 71
standard rooms, 102 doubles and 74 suites. All rooms are equipped with
international telephone and voice mail, color television with satellite
and cable channels, video player on demand, mini-bar, writing desk,
in-room safe and much more. Rooms on the executive floors offer better
amenities and an even higher level of service.
Standard rooms are 25.75 sqm big. Deluxe rooms are 29.3 sqm and Junior
Suites are 41.3 sqm. All 3 room types can fit in only 1 King size bed.
Corporate Suite, 78.1 sqm, Business Suite, 97.8 sqm and Presidential
Suite, 169 sqm can accommodate 2 king size beds each.
Rooms for Non-smokers and the disabled are available.
Restaurants and Bars
The hotel's impressive 250-seater Suzdal Restaurant offers an
imaginative and professionally prepared menu of European dishes. Guests
can enjoy a generous buffet breakfast here every morning or
alternatively hire the restaurant out for a banquet or private function.
The restaurant accepts all major credit cards.
The Golden Ring Hotel's 100-seater Esenin
Restaurant serves exquisitely prepared Russian and European
specialties in a traditional Slavic atmosphere. The restaurant is the
perfect venue for a banquet, wedding reception or private function. The
restaurant opens for lunch between 12pm and 4pm and for dinner between
6pm and midnight. All major credit cards are accepted.
The hotel's 23rd floor Panorama
Restaurant offers a delicious menu of light Mediterranean dishes and
stunning views over the center of Moscow. The restaurant seats a maximum
of 60 people and hosts nightly live music performances from the hotel's
very own violin and cello duo. The restaurant is open from 12noon until
midnight and accepts all major credit cards.
Situated in the basement of the hotel,
the Appenzel Beer Bar and Restaurant is famous for its
hospitality and German cuisine. Try the restaurant's new Russian menu
for a taste of the real Moscow! Open daily from 12noon until midnight.
Enjoy the excellent value Business
Lunch between 12pm and 5pm at the hotel's St. Gotthard Bar,
situated on the 22nd floor and offering impressive views of the city.
The bar offers a very good range of fine wines, a cigar service and a
broad selection of the best foreign teas and coffees. The bar is open
from 12noon until midnight and accepts all major credit cards.
The hotel's 24-hour Diamond Bar
seats just 20 people in a cosy relaxing setting. The bar offers a wide
range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and a menu of light meals
and snacks. All major credit cards accepted.
